Invitation: Green Panel Discussion @ Berlinale

February 9, 2019, 2.30 – 4.00 pm, Landesvertretung Hamburg

Going green is becoming more common for filmmakers throughout the world – whether they need to save precious resources for low-budget productions or to reduce their carbon footprint when shooting motion pictures or series that require complex production methods. The Berlinale Competition films System Crasher by Nora Fingscheidt and The Golden Glove by Fatih Akin were both awarded a Green Shooting Card by the Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein.

From Spain to Finland, new initiatives and incentives are inspiring filmmakers to develop and produce their projects in a more environmentally-friendly manner as producers, sustainability experts, andfilm commissioners acknowledge.
